For Gasoline Applications

The Circle Cycle engine/generator is ideally suited for automobile and light truck propulsion and its auxiliary equipment. Because it is environmentally cleaner, fuel efficient, of low weight and cost, it can be used for high performance vehicles. The Circle cycle engine is air cooled from the inside and as such does not require a radiator, because of this, the aerodynamics of the vehicle can be significantly improved. There is no need for a large battery storage capacity to meet our environmental and operating costs. In Hybrids, the battery cost, longevity and weight (batteries weight 10 times more than gasoline per unit of energy capacity) are under reported. Aside from the fact that maintaining the batteries charge demands an internal combustion engine and a separate generator which are generally inadequate for a high performance vehicles (they also add weight and size).

In the case of plug-ins that get their power from electrical sources that are often generated by coal fired power plants or other fossil fuels, the misnomer that these Hybrid's are environmentally clean is in question. Also their limited range, re-charging time required, and heating or cooling the interior of the automobile with battery power further decreases their range and efficiency.

Vehicle engines with catalytic converters require extra fuel to bring them up to operating temperature to control exhaust emissions and they also limit the lean burning capabilities of the engine to keep the catalytic converters working properly (more fuel used).

The Circle Cycle engine does not need a catalytic converter in the exhaust system because of the geometry of the combustion chamber (no valves or other disfigurements), direct injection, and high temperature ceramic cylinders, the fuel is very close to being completely burned.

For Diesel Applications

The Circle Cycle engine is by design especially suited for diesel operation. A very long piston "stroke" as compared to other engines, rugged construction, an exceptionally long lever arm creating high torque, in a very compact engine.

Aside from many features the engine does not have, i.e. block, crank shaft, valves, water cooling, etc. It has the capability of delivering fuel efficient high horsepower at moderate engine speed. High torque, low RPM means "durability".

The diesel Circle Cycle engine power output can be from the integral electric generator or in combination with hydraulic or mechanical systems, providing the flexibility of serving trucking, heavy equipment, or stationary power.

Diesel engines have been the work horse of heavy lifting at a cost to the environment. Although much of the pollution effects have been mitigated in newer engines, combustion chamber cooling requirements limit the completeness of the fuel burning process. The Circle Cycle engines ceramic cylinders overcome this problem by allowing the combustion chamber to operate at a much higher temperature, assuring a more complete burn of the fuel and improved efficiency.

For Generator Applications

It is possible to connect an electrical generator to most internal combustion engines. The Circle Cycle engine by its design benefits from the use of permanent magnets and is the only one capable of utilizing the engine structure as a major component of an electric generator system. It is a part of the engine, thus the already compact engine with minimal increase in size and weight is fashioned into a high output engine generator with ultra efficient and clean operation, all at a minimum cost.

The unit is adaptable to natural gas, propane, diesel or gasoline which allows it to function as a emergency generator with permanent fuel attachment. It can also be fashioned into a portable electric power source. It is air cooled meaning less engine maintenance to contend with.

The Circle Cycle engine/generator is ideally suited for Hybrid installation, and could up the performance of the vehicle while maintaining low fuel use and a clean foot print.
